Charlie is an American Staffordshire terrier ,who was sentenced to death in August 2012 ,after attacking a police horse in an off-leash dog park in San Francisco.
With more than 110,000 supporting his fight,more signatures are still needed.At the time of the attack, Charlie was still a pup and like all pups sniffed the horse, started barking and started biting the horse.Does this deserve the death penalty?Definitely not!

Nonetheless Gizzarelli, the dog’s owner submitted a proposal to the City Attorney’s Office promising to relocate and rehabilitate his dog.The proposal was denied..
The US District Court will begin hearing the case on January 11 2013.
